Next weekend, February 4 & 5, there will be training for all current and new Spiritual Companions to the homebound. Two trainings will take place: one after Saturday's 4:30pm Mass, and one after Sunday's 10:30am Mass. Please make arrangements to attend one of these trainings. Blessed Sacrament seeks a Part-Time Housekeeper to clean the Rectory, Office, Church, Putz Hall, and Parish Center. This position will be 20-25 hours per week, based on the needs of the Church and will pay $12.00 per hour. St. Vincent de Paul is looking to add several volunteers to strengthen our ability to help the needy in our community. Opportunities vary from interviewing clients for financial assistance or making up food boxes to sorting and sizing clothes or organizational management. Normal requirements are for up to three (3) hours, one day per week, between 9am and Noon. We are an all-volunteer organization and have need of people with every type of talent! I will continue to celebrate the scheduled daily Mass (except in cases of a funeral), even if school is cancelled. However, with that being said, parking lots and sidewalks may not be cleared in time for daily Mass. Please use caution, stay safe, or even stay home. Mass will still be live streamed. If out of necessity the daily Mass needs to be cancelled due to weather, we will try to publish a notice of cancellation through KWWL and KCRG TV stations.

Blessed Sacrament's Holiday Food Bag Project is back again this year in partnership with the Ansborough Hy-Vee. Join us next Saturday, Nov 12th, starting at 8:00 AM for the Blessed Sacrament Fall Grounds Cleanup Day. Mike Ballantyne and our Building & Grounds Committee could use all the help they can get!
