On February 6, 2023, a devastating magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Turkey & Syria, leaving tens of thousands dead & injured. The instability in the region, along with winter weather, has made this crisis compounded for survivors who now face homelessness in a hostile environment. Caritas Internationales and Catholic Relief Services (CRS) are in the region providing assistance to those affected by this tragedy. Caritas asks for the continued prayers of the international community in alleviating the sufferings of the people in Syria & Turkey at this difficult time.
