As we look forward to the day when we can all return to Church and resume our regular ministries, Blessed Sacrament will be conducting our annual Time & Talent Survey of parishioners the weekend of March 20 & 21, 2021. Due to the continuing pandemic and the need to remain socially distant, our Survey will be a little different this year. We will be conducting a virtual Survey and ask that, to the maximum extent possible, our parishioners utilize the online Time & Talent Survey located on our website: https://blessedsacramentwaterloo.org/time-and-talent-survey. Paper copies of our survey booklets will be available in the Gathering Space beginning the weekend of March 20 & 21 for those unable to complete an online survey. Survey booklets may be returned by dropping them in the red boxes in the Gathering Space or the bin located outside the doors of the parish office. Finally, we will not be taking time during Masses to fill out paper copies of the survey. Please prayerfully consider how you can share your gifts from God through support of our Parish ministries and participate in our survey. New surveys should be turned in by Sunday, April 11th.

Think about the people, organizations, and charities that are most meaningful to you. Make sure your will is written so your intentions are clearly spelled out. Make sure your loved ones also know about these intentions. We pray that you consider Blessed Sacrament in your estate planning. I will continue to celebrate the scheduled daily Mass (except in cases of a funeral), even if school is cancelled. However, with that being said, parking lots and sidewalks may not be cleared in time for daily Mass. Please use caution, stay safe, or even stay home. Mass will still be live streamed. If out of necessity the daily Mass needs to be cancelled due to weather, we will try to publish a notice of cancellation through KWWL and KCRG TV stations.
Now that we have had public Mass for some time, we need more help from you to keep it going. Volunteers are needed to serve as Ushers and to run the disinfectant sprayer after Mass. Please consider gifting your time to Blessed Sacrament in one or more of these ways. Training will be provided. To help, please contact Maggie in the office (319) 233-6179.
